Thanks to all who've donated thus far, we've raised $1500 towards our goal $12,000! There is plenty of work to be done this year and the Project needs your help to continue delivering valuable preventive care for Malaria. I've been given a contact to assist with obtaining non-profit status 501c(3) and I'll work hard to complete that task before year end so that your contribution will be tax deductible.
FUNDRAISING GOAL $12,000
The generous donations you give will be put toward the item of your choice.

a per meal cost is approximately $1 (this includes a piece of local fruit with afternoon meal).
a per day food cost (typically 8 adults and 5 children two meals daily)
approximately $25
a per week food cost = $190 (food prices are higher after Libya's oil shutdown)
8 weeks of two nutritious meals per day for 13 people - approximately $1500
Note: All food is bought in Ghanaian markets so this money directly circulates into the local economy. I feel strongly about the potential of this component. It incorporates nutritious food into the basic operation of the clinics, illustrating the project's commitment to raising overall health in the community and setting this project apart in that, within the project we are building community and that will resonate out to the larger community and eventually to all areas of Ghana.
